There are many different workout programs for the russian kettlebell. However, we focus on Pavels RKC system. Which is simple and brutal. When it comes down to the basics, kettlebells can be divided into pushing movements and pulling movements. So, for someone learning how to use a kettlebell we teach only two excercises in the beginning. The first pulling movement to learn is a swing and the first pushing movement is the turkish get-up. A lot of people think that just doing two excercises is too simple and will not get cover a complete workout. But, these excercises are whole body excercises that cover the back and front of the body. After these excercises are mastered One can then progress to advanced pulling and pressing excercises such as the snatch, clean and press, windmill, bent press, and high pulls. However, after doing kettlebells for quite some time I find myself going back to just doing the two basics. They are not to be underestimated.
